With “Roma in Scena” Autumn comes on the scene in the Museums of Rome

Cultural events and performances in the museums of the capital city.
Autumn marks a return to the civic museums of Rome with the initiative ROMA IN SCENA (Rome on stage). The event is promoted by the City Council of Rome, Department of Cultural Policies and Communication and Superintendence for the Cultural Heritage with the contribution of the Treasury Banks of Rome City Council (BNL Gruppo BNP Paribas, Unicredit Banca di Roma and Monte dei Paschi di Siena) and the collaboration of Gioco del Lotto (National Lottery). The organization is coordinated by “Zètema Progetto Cultura”.
After the success of the summer season, which saw as many as 10,000 spectators participating from 1 July to 20 September in events and performances organized in the museums of the capital city, citizens and tourists can continue to enjoy the autumn period and make full use of the Roman museums not only as exhibition areas but also for entertainment.
From 3 October to 26 November ROMA IN SCENA will animate some of the most renowned museums of the City with theatre performances, readings, poetry, music and dance. The museum areas involved are: ARA PACIS, AUDITORIUM OF MECENATE, CENTRALE MONTEMARTINI, CAPITOLINE MUSEUMS, VILLA TORLONIA MUSEUMS, MUSEUM OF ROMAN CIVILIZATION, MUSEUM OF ROME, MUSEUM OF ROME IN TRASTEVERE, NAPOLEONIC MUSEUM, PIETRO CANONICA MUSEUM.
Information
For events that are not free of charge, ticket reductions are available for holders of annual and monthly Metrebus subscribers, holders of Metrebus Card, of printed bus/metro tickets and for Rome public transport employees. In order to make use of these facilitations, beneficiaries must show their Metrebus subscription, their Metrebus Card, a printed Bit ticket or their employee card.
