Program of the events scheduked for the 2766th Birthday of Rome:
- Saturday, 20 April - Piazza del Popolo: A PASSO DI TANGO IN ONORE DI PAPA FRANCESCO, Italian-Argentine dance and music in honor of Pope Francis.
- Sunday, 21 April - Piazza del Popolo: concert-event in honour of Franco Califano,  6 "no-stop" hours to remember the recently deceased singer: FRANCO CALIFANO, NON ESCLUDO IL RITORNO.
- Sunday, 21 April: HISTORICAL PROCESSION by the Gruppo Storico Romano and other associations from the Circus Maximus in Via dei Fori Imperiali.
- Sunday, 21 April: some ancient and contemporary art museums will host a MARATHON OF ART AND LITERATURE. Several popular actors will read literary texts dedicated to Roma Caput Mundi.
- Sunday, 21 April: on the occasion of Rome's Birthday, the Civic Museums Network grants free admission to all visitors, except at:
• Planetario: regular admission fees;
• Musei Capitolini:exhibition only fees apply (€ 3,50), a € 2,00 ridottissimo ticket applies for visitors who are generally entitled to free admission;
• Museo dell’Ara Pacis: sola integrazione mostra (€ 2,50);
• Exhibition“Tiffany & Gallè” held in Palazzo Caffarelli: regular admission fees.
- From 20 to 28 April 2013 educational activities (workshops for children, guided tours, meetings with exhibition curators) are scheduled  in the following museums and sites: Museum of Roman Civilization, Monumental Cemetery of Verano; Musei di Villa Torlonia - Casina delle Civette, Villa Doria Pamphili - Cascina Farsetti; Museum of Roman Civilization; Museo Pietro Canonica-Villa Borghese, Museo Carlo Bilotti - Villa Borghese; Musei di Villa Torlonia (Casino dei Principi, Casina delle Civette, Casino Nobile); Museo della Repubblica Romana; Musei Capitolini – Palazzo dei Conservatori,Viale della Villa di Plinio - Ostia, Pineta di Castelfusano; Mercati di Traiano; Piazza della Minerva; Casina dei Vallati (Via del Portico d'Ottavia); Museo Napoleonico; ex Mattatoio; Centrale Montemartini; Museo del Teatro Argentina.
