2765° Birthday of Rome
The celebrations on 21 April are always an opportunity to celebrate the legendary Birthday of Rome but also a moment to reflect on the meaning and values of national and civil identity.
In keeping with a tradition, to celebrate its 2765th Christmas, from Friday 20 to Sunday, 22 April 2012, Roma Capitale offers a rich program featuring institutional and official celebrations, free guided tours to civic museums, historical, artistic events and entertainments.
Traditionally on the Birthday of Rome - which this year falls during the XIV Culture Week (14 - 22 April, 2012) - Civic Museums will be open with free admission (with the exception of the Planetarium of Rome and the exhibitions held at the Ara Pacis, the Capitoline Museums and the Pelanda at Macro Testaccio).
